Two teams walk out of a stadium tunnel towards a trophy on a plinth while their manager shouts encouragement.

Mobile first

Fewer screens. Not less game.

Everything that made the big management games great, rebuilt for a phone. The decisions come to you.

What needs you comes first

Your inbox splits the decisions waiting on you from the news. A scout report opens in two taps from the message that mentions it.

Plays offline

The whole game lives on your phone, so it works on the train with no signal. Updates download when you're back online.

Choose your depth

Matchdays, Manager or Everything: hand contracts and signings to your director of football and training to your assistant, or run all ten jobs yourself. It's a setting you can change any time, not a tutorial that drip-feeds you the game.

The game's home screen on a phone: three decisions waiting, led by the board's opening meeting, then pre-season and the next match

Real screens from the game

The moments you'll screenshot.

Deadline day at 18:00. The agent who won't budge. The bookies writing you off. Straight from the current build, nothing mocked up.

Your calls count

You change the result.

Nothing is scripted. Every match is played out from your players, your shape and your instructions, against a manager with a plan of his own. Get the decisions right and you win more. Get them wrong and the board notices.

Mid-match: the analyst says the other side are going long early, with five changes to choose from on the tactics board
TacticsSpot it. Change it.Your analyst flags what the other side are doing, you make the call, and the other manager answers after a few minutes. His answer might be wrong. How the tactics board works
Contract talks: the agent turns down the offer and says his client wants more money
SigningsWho you sign, and what you payScout them, then sit down with the agent, clause by clause. Overpay and the wage bill strangles next season. Sell the wrong leader and the dressing room goes with him.
The academy screen: the under-21s with their positions, appearances and average ratings
The academyGrow your ownYour Head of Development works on the prospects you trust with minutes. Push a 17-year-old into the first team, loan him out, or sell him for a fortune.

After every match

Then the analyst tells you what worked.

The flow of the match in expected goals, where every chance came from, which side you attacked down, the decisions you both made and whether they paid off. Plus how far to trust him: a better analyst sees more and gets it right more often.

The match review rates every player, shows who is tired before the next game, and lays out the week ahead.

The analyst's post-match report: the score, fans' reaction, the analyst's verdict and how far to trust it, the expected-goals flow chart, a shot map and where the side attacked
The match review: score, expected goals, possession and shots, player ratings, fitness for the next game and the week's fixtures

The depth is back

All of the job. In your pocket.

The career loop that kept you up until 3am, with every system talking to the others.

Boardroom

The board sets your objectives, then you negotiate them. Push for Europe and a bigger budget, or agree to sell your best prospects and build the academy.

Contracts

Signings go through an agent meeting, clause by clause: wages, release clauses, bonuses, sell-on fees. Then a proper unveiling for the big ones.

Scouting

Scouts specialise. Some read a team's shape and style, others find the 16-year-old nobody has heard of. Scouting abroad costs more, and some signings won't work out.

Dressing room

Chemistry builds over seasons. Keep the spine together and it compounds. Sell three leaders in one summer and watch it fall apart.

Playing styles

Countries play differently, and squads adapt at different speeds. Tiki-taka comes easier to a squad raised in Spain than one raised in Germany.

Academy

Under-8s to Under-21s. Your Head of Academy finds and releases players. Your Head of Development makes them better, and reports back.

The touchline

Make a change and the other manager sees it, then reacts after a delay. His answer might work. It might not. Then it's your move.

Deadline day

Bids at 22:58, an agent on hold, the board asking questions. Plus pre-season predictions: the bookies' table, top scorer and sack race, as percentages.

When it goes right

Champions

Your club. With three games to spare.

Big wins get a big night, and the board always has something to say.

“Car got a flat tyre on the way back. Don't care, the tow-truck driver was one of ours. What a win!”

The Chairman

“Someone asked if you're getting a statue. Not a chance!”

The Vice-Chairman

Questions

Before you sign

What is Touchline Manager?

A deep football manager sim for your phone. You run the whole career at a club: the board, transfers, contracts, scouting, the academy, tactics and the dressing room. TLM27 is the 2026/27 season edition.

Is it the same as Football Manager?

No. Touchline Manager is an independent game. It isn't made by, or connected to, Sports Interactive or SEGA. See how TLM27 compares with FM27.

Does it work offline?

Yes. The whole game runs on your phone. It only goes online to download updates, and to bring in children signed up on this website.

Do I need Netflix or another subscription?

No. TLM27 is its own app, coming soon to the App Store and Google Play.

Which phones does it run on?

iPhone and Android. It's coming soon to the App Store and Google Play, and a PC version comes later.

When is TLM27 out?

Coming soon to the App Store and Google Play. Leave your email and we'll tell you the day it launches.

Can I test TLM27 before launch?

Yes. We're picking beta testers on iPhone and Android. Apply to test and tell us which phone you've got.

Can I put my child in the game?

Yes, if you're their parent or guardian. They play for their real grassroots team and get scouted by an academy in your game. How it works for parents.

Now prove it.
